Olympia Placings 2018
The biggest competition of the year was this past weekend in Las Vegas. The Olympia is the Super Bowl of bodybuilding. It was an honor for Angel Competition Bikinis to be in the crowd cheering for our sponsored athletes Casey, Jenn, Marica, Kerryne, and Mariella! We loved meeting so many of our amazing customers at the ACBikinis booth, thank you to everyone that stopped by and said hello, we are so grateful for all of your support! What do we think? We will try to answer this as unbiased and honest as possible, but we do admit, we may have a slight bias towards our athletes.
We agree with Paul about the callouts for Casey Samsel. Watch the video below; her physique is perfection! (in our opinion)
As shown in the video above, Casey had a very successful year in placings. She scored 3rd place at the Arnold and then placed 2nd last weekend at the Arizona Pro. Her physique came in FLAWLESS on Friday in her Sequin Teal Angel Competition Bikini. Our opinion is that she should have made 1st callouts and been in the running for the Ms. Bikini Olympia. We do completely respect the judges decisions, but we are curious as to the feedback Casey will receive. In the judges defense, the bikini competition was tough this year and we can't imagine how hard it was to make the first callout decision. Shout out to all of the amazing judges at the Olympia, we appreciate you!
We did expect Ashley Kaltwasser to place higher than 5th place, but again the competition was intense! Angelica was crowned Ms. Bikini Olympia for the 2nd year in a row, and looking at her physique, we can't disagree with that. Congrats on your win Angelica! 2nd place was the underdog Lauralie, her glutes and physique were very symmetrical and she displayed a confident and feminine posing routine. Congrats on 2nd place Lauralie! We expected Marcia Goncalves to place higher than she did. She had a very successful year and won several 1st place IFBB Bikini Pro Titles. She came in at 9th place at the Olympia.
Our other Angel Competition Bikinis Sponsored Athletes Jenn, Mariella, and Kerryne all placed 16th. It was their first Olympia appearance. Just walking on the stage is the biggest honor a bikini competitor can receive! Way to go ladies!! It is such an HONOR to sponsor you amazing women!! Thanks for all your inspiration!
