My implants have given me confidence!

I decided to make the leap and invest in some girls in December 2018. As a gymnast growing up I never really had anything. I had a small 32 A and let’s say they got even smaller with bodybuilding. Competing didn’t help this either. I am sure you ladies can relate. We diet hard, train hard and before we know it our girls say “peace out!” Not to say there’s anything wrong with small boobs but I knew that I always wanted some.

I decided on an augmentation surgery after thinking about it for 2 years. In December 2018, I decided to finally commit and get the surgery done. I went with silicone implants, 350cc, under the muscle and the incision under the breast. My surgeon did a fantastic job due to the fact that he is double board certified. He made me feel comfortable and confident in his suggestions for the look I wanted to achieve.

Heads up ladies! Make sure your surgeon is board certified. Friendly reminder that implants will look different on everyone. The type and size will look different on everyone’s frame.

After the surgery, it was a little rough trying to feel normal again. I couldn’t intensely train for about a month post op. My range of motion was limited during this time. My surgeon and I were in a lot of communication post op as I was returning to the gym. Honestly though, I wanted to honor my body and if it needed to rest extra, I rested! With every passing week I was improving. 2 months post surgery, I felt back to my old self.  Now, 6 months post op, I feel amazing and am starting to do chest work again too. The girls feel like part of me and they give me an extra boost of confidence in my Angel Competition Bikini! Overall, I think they balance my physique and just make me feel confident.

Again, before I went under the knife I loved my little breast. However, these bigger girls are now the new me and I am here for it! I wanted to touch base on the fact that I have not experienced any Breast Implant Illness symptoms. My heart goes out to women who are struggling with this. However, I am not a sufferer. I knew that this surgery would be an investment, but I do not regret a thing. Ladies there is no shame in wanting to change your physique! Just do it for you and not just the stage.
